Losing is not anybody’s idea of fun, but we all need to learn how to accept a defeat gracefully and move on. We teach students that losing is part of life – and it’s what you do after you lose that tells people who you are.
Even though martial arts is an individual sport, we cultivate an environment of supportive teamwork where students root for one another.
First off, I would like you to know Taekwondo Works is a 5 plus, there is no doubt in my mind of that. I feel it is truly a privilege to have my children to be able to participate in this program for after-school and summer camp.
I have three boys that have all attended Taekwondo Works for the last few years and it was the best decision I have ever made for my children. I did a lot of research and read the bios of the instructors on their website prior to enrolling them and everything they say they will do for your child is the truth. They all are nationally ranked instructors and have the credentials needed to ensure our children get what they need physically and mentally. My children’s doctors always say “you are so strong and all muscle” what do you do? The response is always first I do taekwondo, wrestle and run a mile every day. The doctor is like WOW, says keep up what you are doing, eat what you are eating and keep that smile. A boost of confidence for sure.
We love taking our son here!! He has been working on his belt ranks for the past 2 years. It takes time and consistency, not just getting the children to black belt as soon as possible. Every child is different and they take their time to make sure they achieve their goals at their speed. The staff is fantastic, friendly and truly take care of the kids. This place is so much more than “just Taekwando” they have after school daycare program! Oh and they even have classes for 40+!

Cannot recommend this highly enough. They are committed to helping each child in their own unique way. They are throughly invested in teaching each child how to succeed and become confident.
